Hi, I'm Tala.
A product designer and AI-enablement lead working at the intersection of research, product, interface, and the tools that make teams faster.
My approach is research-first. Most projects start with semi-structured interviews, competitor teardowns, and contextual fieldwork — the goal isn't to confirm a hypothesis, it's to find the question worth answering. I lean on IDEO's design-thinking loop and the Iceberg Model to keep teams honest about whether we're solving a behaviour, a structure, or a mindset.
On the design side I work end-to-end — discovery and synthesis, IA and flows, hi-fi UI in Figma, and clickable prototypes that feel like the product instead of diagrams of it. I care about typography that does work, interfaces that respect attention, and edge cases handled with the same care as the happy path.
Most of my time goes into AI-native product work — designing with Claude, ChatGPT, and Perplexity in the loop, and building Zapier / Make / n8n pipelines so the workflows around them actually scale. I care about products that respect attention, handle the edges gracefully, and are honest about what they don't know.
On the side I'm building Vow, an AI-native wedding-planning platform, and Atlas, a paycheck-first budgeting app for irregular earners across CA, US, KSA and UAE.
Things I'm …
I love nature, sourdough, and long flights.
Most weekends I'm either on a trail, with a starter on the counter, around the table with family, or planning the next trip — usually somewhere I haven't been before.
